Hi all,

I need to get an engine collected from London and transported to me back in Glos. Any recommendations on a company to do it, and how much I should expect to pay? Genuine feedback is better than google :)

Thanks in advance!

We use Expect Distribution at work for pallets. Not sure what their consumer prices are like though.

Why not go with Tontsy? I hear he does it naked too.

Rumour has it he has very ugly testicles though, nobody wants to see that when having an engine delivered.

Just for comedy value, I once got a quote from TNT. On a quarter pallet, smallest you can get an engine on, I was quoted a next day delivery of....

£3100. Yes, two 0's at the end, no typo.

Never!?

Our highest cost at work for a half pallet is probably about £30!

Fucking hell.

Seriously dude. I used to send engines all the time with Securicor Omega for about £38 but they were bought over by DHL and stopped doing pallets for a decent price. I tried going through all the websites, got a quote from loads including TNT. I thought it must have glitched so I put in the details again using a different browser. Im sure I screen dumped it. They quoted me about 800 for their economy 3-5 day service iirc LOL

I had an engine sent via interparcel, provided a pallet and everything for less than £60

Have you tried 'shiply'?
