Okay was scanning pistonheads and came across a 16v janspeed manifold for £30 posted as it had a hole in the third branch. The guy seemed okay and he posted it after paying money via paypal, however a week later and it didnt turn up and got a text off a different number saying he has been out the country so couldnt send it. The seller said it would be here last tuesday but still hasnt arrived yet and both of their phone are off all the time. What can I do about this? I know its only £30 but that could be put towards christmas shite etc. Thanks in advance

I hope for your sake it wasn't.
If it WASNT paid by gift, then get him to log into paypal, go to resolution centre and click dispute a transaction.

You didn't wire the money to a guy called mkanififagogo in Nigeria did you?
To be honest you may as well have, if something is to good to be true....then it usually is.
Can try a dispute but if you paid by gift you have less than no chance.
Take it on the chin and learn for next time mate

don't get me wrong, scammers are scum and deserve whatever they get but don't stoop to their level. try and get your money back legitimately, the scammers will get what they deserve soon enough
