2001 vts running rich and cuts out when revs drop

hi my saxo vts is running rich and the car cuts out when revs drop fast. i'm unsure of what the problem could be.
the car feels like its under performing as well

not really got the cash at the minute as so close to christmas just looking for an idea what it might be

Could be a 02 sensor, coolent temp sensor maybe the map sensor the list is endless mate. I got same problem.

Yes mate i have exactly the same problem, doesnt happen all the time tho, not really bothered to be honest as saxos are a pile of w**k anyway!!

i'm gonna start by checking all the earths first then maybe a new coilpack but theres no rush

It could be a map sensor or O2 sensor.

hard to tell as its so cold outside but yeah there is smoke white smoke

Mine was the lambds sensor and the icv, changed both ( for brand new brand names ) and the problem was solved.
