That`s a new one on me,more likely that he`s knocked an earth wire.

right double checked all his fuses today all fine not blown the fuel pump is priming and everything works except the starter motor so i changed it for him today with a brand new one and it still wont turn over its baffling me now and im getting fed up of working on it cos i wanna fix mine but he pays well lol so if anyone knows if there's a relay etc for starter?

As Stevo67 says it is probably a earth problem.

That's easy to test thou, with a multimeter measure between earth and the wire to the starter motor solenoid (the thin one) and try to crank engine, you should get around battery voltage when in crank position, but if earth problem you will get in voltmeter like 3 to 7 volts, if not power going to starter motor (broken wire, ignition) then you wont get nothing (0volts)
