how big are your tyres? to be honest id get rid. they look terrible on saxos. You can see the tiny disc behind them and makes the ride height really high. Will look like a monster truck if it isnt lowered aswell, and with 17's, dont expect to lower it much without it rubbing

I got some pics of mine on my progress thread below, was on 205/40/17 tyres. Rubbed on full lock with 20mm spacers on.
Tbh I'd sell them and buy 15's and lower it. See my progress thread I got fed up of 17's, so I sold them for other wheels and decked thee car :)
Edit: I'd reccomend a 40mm drop on 17's.

Plenty of saxo's ran bigger wheels 5/6 years ago, must be plenty of information on the net about it.

Would stick to 16 as a maximum. Im on 15s and it looks fine, 17 always looks far to big to me personally.

I removed the arch liners and smashed the places that rubbed with a lump hammer. Sorted it out pretty much.
However, the handling and ride was hideous - when I dropped back to 15"'s it was like a different car.

What mm is the car lowered, you may have to raise her a little to get the clearance on full lock.

Stick to nice 15's and lower the car, you don't want to make your Saxo into a Monster Truck..

right guys decided on the inevitable black saxo vtr with silver trims, so skirts, over arches and lower door trims will be silver. with the 16" 206 gti rims finishing it off.

Would leave the skirts etc black but keep the wheels silver, will give the car a real clean look
