Hi guys, as title says I bent my track rod at the weekend and require a new one, ive found one pretty cheap but is advertised as fits a 1.1 and other models, what i want to know is will it fit my w reg mk2 vtr.

Me too, It's just a few of my mates are saying i have to be careful as some 1.1's haven't got pas, although I didnt think it would matter unless it was the steering rack I was after. :xmas_confused:

ive got an old 1.1 with non pas that i'm breaking had a look at it today and its exactly the same as on my vtr mate, just the rack thats different

Still pretty confused as what to get as this part supposedly fits but looks different

thats the bit you need but thats expensive i got the same part same manufacture for £10 from parkers

go to a breakers hard and get one...

thats what i done when i slid on the ice and smacked a kurb :n: track rod was like a banana! lol

My track rod is exactly the same lol, I checked out my local breakers and the Saxos are in awkward or non reachable positions for me to get to the track rod, sooooo be much easier to sit back order online ;)

W987 ljh mate, they had that one for tenner on parkers should I not just order that ??? What's delivery time like ??

yeh yo could do mate. dunno about delivery times but for me about 1/2 hour ;) would have thought a few days.
