when i break it feels like the front of the car is grabbing instead of being a clean brake. i was thinking mabey its warped discs as it does it under heavy braking as seems like a rotation thing ( grabs every few seconds like with the rotation of the wheel). anyway i was wondering is it easy to change the discs on the front of a saxo? i have done it to a few fords, is it the same?

yeah its pretty easy you just need a set of allen keys, spanners/sockets and a torx bit to undo the disc retaining bolts, and a screwdriver or something to pull off the little clip thats on the caliper to hold it togeather. It's pretty self explanitary if you get the wheel off and have a look. Might even be a guide on here somewhere..

I take you have solid discs, might be an idea to upgrade to something bigger.

Just go to a scrappy and grab some calipers and carriers from a 306 turbo diesel or xsara vtr, get new discs and pads to suit though.
