As my mate says dubstep is like a garbage truck being driven off the side of a cliff.
The genre is crap imo, just seems like noise. Same with screamo metal and such. Dont see the talent or musical pleasure you can gain from it...

The grime scene in dub step I personally can't stand.
I can see why the kids like Nero etc though, it's not some twat chatting utter shit over random riffs.
Modestep for me are great, put on a great show, talented musicians and nice guys to work around.
The scenes got big money at the moment, perfect time to cash in quick and get t as it won't be around long.

snap
i've listened to dubstep since i was 14 years old, i remember when benga and coki released 'night', everyone i showed it to thought it was wank, until it was put on a ministry of sound cd and suddenly everyone loved it.
old dubstep definitely beats new, everyones selling out, if you look at ruskos old stuff, in fact, all the old dub police stuff, its so different to what they're releasing today... it goes the same with all genera though, for example look at justice, when they first released waters of nazarath everyone hated it, but when electro got big they changed their tune, released d.a.n.c.e and sold out, look at their latest album, its not them at all, they're just playing what people want to hear and not what they like
dnb hasn't changed though :y: apart from lifted music, but other than that :y: :y: :y:
