Hi my vts cuts out on idle so i took the icv of cleaned it and it was fine for a few weaks then the problem came back so iv brought a new one from euro car parts fitted it and now it idles a 4000rpm took that of and sent it back thought it was a dodgy one got another one and it dose the same thing iv code read it and there is no codes :wall:

Any ideas would be greatful:y:

was it a genuine one? ive just done the same thing got one off ebay had to send it back was idlin on 3k. eurocarparts qouted me 130 quid for one earlier.

No mate i got one from eurocarpats for £60 trade price :y:

Mine did exactly the same thing.
I turned the car on and off 7 or 8 times and each time the revs settled a little bit more..I think it has something to do with the ECU having to relearn the values of a new part?

Iv tried that mate it did not work

Have you taken live wire off the battery ??? The ecu needs to calibrated the icv, I disconnected my battery for around 5 min, started it up, and it was fine.

My one is from euro car parts, B17-00 MODEL.

Definitely give it go mate.. leave it off for around 5 min, some lrave theres off for hours, but 5 minutes has always done the job for me, the reconnect, turn the ignition to the 2nd knock, leave for 30 seconds then fire that mother fucker up Haha.
