Hi there I am recently having a problem with my front window wipers when I use the stalk to put them on it does not work on 1st click and when I put it on the 2nd click it works but keeps cutting out and freezing and when I push down on my wiper stalk it will move but when I let go it does not return I think it has something to do with that terminal because if you hold the stalk on setting number 2 abit higher then it will work if you get what I mean.
anyway I was just wondering what do I need to do to get acess to this stalk to check if there is any problems with the wiring or faults with the unit? do I need to remove the steering wheel?

It might be the blue relay I would try that 1 st. The blue relay is in under the glove box.

I think you will need the wheel off but its not difficult to do I wouldn't think, if its like most Citroen / pugs its a 50 or 55 torx bolt, just remember to put a dab of tipex on the shaft before you take the wheel off so you know the correct position to put it back on with. Also be careful with the airbag wiring.

how would I go about doin the blue relay
and I think its just the switch as it works when I put it on 1 mode but not the other maybe just a loose connection somewhere
the steering cowling is just 2 torx pieces right?

To change the relay Just pull it off and replace with one from scrappy.

A previous post put the relays location under the glove box.

Try squirting some contact cleaner in the stalk switch and and move the stalk around, might save you taking the steering wheel off. It worked for me when the wipers packed up.

Little bump but I have the same issue on 2nd click and was wondering if you got it sorted or if there's any more advice on it?

sounds like a stalk issue. might be worth popping to your local scrappy and finding a saxo with the same stalk and wiring! should only cost about a fiver!
