check your mounts over with a fine tooth combe!!

have a chum pull on the engin and hold it there and then push back on it and hold it there whilst you look, this will, with luck show any hair line cracks that you may not see when the engin is at it's rest position. Goes withought saying, be carefull, DON'T pull or push on things that may brake like the plastic inlet, use the hoist bracket maby??

Check things like lower ball joints, track rod ends, drive shafts, and the bushing at the rear of the wishbone.

let us know how you get on.

The only legal advice i can pass on is that you speak to citizens advice, and perhaps remember a frase that pops up in consumer law that says that the "product must be fit for the purpose for wich it was intended", or some thing like that?

DON'T go quoting this as you'll open a phat can of worms that you may not be able to hold on to, if you know what i mean?

Do seak advice from someone that is in the law business!!

Pete

give colin at cit performance, he knows his stuff. you might have to drop the car off there for a bit but i have seen his work on 2 rally spec vts engines with low 14sec 1/4 mile
