i bought my saxo last month and its got a few problems which i think are all fixable, but i just checked its mot history and the advisories for this year are
Nearside Inner Front Suspension component mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive (2.4.A.2)

Offside Inner Front Suspension component mounting prescribed area is corroded but not considered excessive (2.4.A.2)

anyone know that when these do need doing is it a costly repair or not?

You may be looking at needing some welding done. or

Temporary fix= get under the car and use a wire brush to remove the rust flakes and then apply a fresh coat of underseal

okay thanks mate. is it difficult to get under the wings with the wheels off?

Not really, whip the wheels off and remove arch liners then you'll be able to see how bad things are :y:
