That plate may be illegal, there is only a few font types/strict layout you can have for plates so be careful

Plates have to be the same font and they cannot be bold, italic etc. The spacing on the plates has to be a certain amount in-between each letter. Any registration plates that aren't reflective will fail on mot. If they don't have BSAU145d code printed on them and the manufacture details on them they're illegal. Charles Wright is the font that is used on the plates mate

not strictly true
if they are new plates then yes thats correct but of the plates are old then there is no need for the bs mark or manufaturers details, and no where does it say you have to replace your old plates
i had a set on my 306 s16 for five years and it passed every single mot with out question or issue.
my present plates also dont have any details on them, but they are legal font, font size etx just cut down as i only have 5 digits in my reg number
