Xbox360... Vs... Playstation 3

Well, its been a while since we had an Xbox vs Playstation argument so lets get one going!

Seen alot of stories stating that this year SHOULD have been the year of the Playstation... but wasn't.

Total unit sales in millions based on the combined US, Europe, and Japan Sales for the Playstation 3:

Uncharted 3............... 1.68 (5-weeks)
Kill Zone3:..................1.66
LBP2:........................1.64
Infamous2:................. 0.82
Yakuza4:....................0.75
Resistance 3:.............0.58
Socom4:....................0.52
ICO/Shadow:..............0.42
Dead Soul:.................0.42
MLB 11:.....................0.37

Bleach: .....................0.18

Thats a total of of 9.56 million units of PS3 Exclusivity for this year! Go you guys!

Compared only to the 3 360 exclusives based on US, Europe, and Japan sales.

GoW 3:....................3.90
Halo:CE:A................1.07 (3 weeks)
Forza 4....................1.07 (8 weeks)

So thats a total of 6.04 million units! Which is less but astonishing considering that it is only 3 games compared to 13 mentioned for PS3

It's also worth noting how long the games have been out. Most of the PS3 games have been out longer than the 360 games.

Oh how I love my Xbox...

And THAT right there, is why they haven't sold. Sony have done next to no advertising at all. Noticed how the 3 Xbox games were plastered all over TV?

Also, the Xbox360 has outsold the PS3 EVERY month this year in the US!

I care about the game. Couldn't care less about the machine that reads the disc, as long as it's reliable and fairly priced. Don't care at all about "exclusive" games. If I can't have it, I'll find something else.

Xbox 360 is a 7th-gen system from Ms and a heir to the first Gaming system. It was released returning in 2005 and marketed over 41 thousand systems globally since then. Ps3 uses a unique Cell High speed internet Engine CPU developed by Sony, IBM and New laptop, as well as an RSX Reality Keyboard design program from nVidia. It has 256 MB program and 256 MB video memory and is able to play returning Blu-ray films. Ps3 customers can enjoy online multi-player game play through the PlayStation Network (PSN).

Well I had a PS3.. Sold it for a 360,
Sold that after a few months, then ended up purchasing a PS3 again, around 3x PS3's later and I bought a limited edition MW3 Xbox, now all I play is BF3 but still on the Xbox!
I think both consoles have +'s
Like I prefer online play on the Xbox
But prefer the PS3 as a media centre (Bly rays etc)
Both consoles also have specific games tailored for themselves first! Or just at all
So really it's a toss up that's constant for me :-/
