blower and power steering

hi i just got in car. started ok then the battery light stops on. and the blow stops workin and the power steering stops workin . ps i had a cd player fitted a month ago dont know it that got any thing to do with it

Not sure but i think the blower, power steering and back window demister are on the same fuse, it might have gone. Is the car able to run or is it dead with light on.I think the alternator is going or gone with the light on. Check battery connections and alternator connection.

no car not dead still runs ok. but with no power steering and blower what happends is you can start the car ok. then it knocks it self of wate a second. start it. and runs for 5 seconds then knocks it self of a gain car runs ok

i have just spoke to sum 1 and you have to bridge sum wires near the ignition

Before you do that get the alternator charging rate checked mate.

HI tryied the bridge way still no luck. the alternator charging rate is a bit low the next step is a new alternator i think

i had this problem changed the ignition barrel for 30 quid hope this helps

the alternator should be changing around 14.4Volts on tick over much difference to that or voltage beeing lower than 14volts its alternator, but check battery to make sure its at its best.. the battery should sit at about 12volts without the car running
