Pretty sure the crossover was 2000 because mines a mk2 with mk1 engine and exhaust ect..

Mines a T plate and its 1999 - cross over year for me. Mk2 front struts, and was originally fitted with 90bhp silvertop but mk1 lights and mk1 second gen grille

if it has mk1 lights then it's not a crossover. the crossover is mk1 engine and mechanicals + mk2 front end
