Got in my car the other night turned the key it fired up then cut out , thought wtf ? So tried again and same thing after a few more attempts it still kept doing it so as I turned the key I put my foot on the throttle and it started up but as soon as I took my foot off the pedal it cut out again.
Tried again and kept my foot on throttle to warm the car up abit and again it cut out but then when I turned the key next it started and idled on tick over fine no problems ??? Now seems to be a constant problem for me

Car has a lazerline alarm on it but when I unlock it it makes a tiny beep when it should be a fairly loud beep ?
Could it be my battery is on its way out or the alarm is locking the imobaliser ?

Any help would be ideal

Sounds like an Idle issue, but might also be to do with the battery/electronics. I have the same every now and again but I can't say for sure whats causing it.

It may be the Idle Control Valve, (ICV) either needs cleaning or replacing, Or Battery, or Alarm interfering.

Iv tired cleaning the ICV on mine and it stopped it for a while but its done it a couple of times since. Iv also found that when it does it if I disconnect the negative terminal on the battery then reconnect it, it works fine.

Have you noticed if you clock has been resetting itself? as mine has done it a few times when starting which leads me to believe that mine may be something to do with the battery.

Sorry I'm not really much help.

Going to try cleaning my ICV tomorrow.
