Bumpstrips

I got a facelift saxo to paint soon, I believe he's only having the black bits colour coded White but I thought I'd ask, how do the side strips come off?

The side strips are held on by clips - they can be pulled off but you may end up snapping some clips as this is easily done. They're not too expensive at all.

As for the black on the front and back bumper, the best way would be to mask the car up when painting these, unless you want to take the bumpers off and mask them up.

A lot of people put the black side strips back on with tiger seal as a more permanent solution, but it's up to you!
