My spare wheel has basically rotted away while its been hanging around underneath for however many years, plus its heavy
Can I ditch it and just carry a can or two of tireweld? and a little cig lighter compressor?

My car didnt come with one :S
Tyre weld goes off after a year or two iirc and is pointless on anything but a tiny hole....

Tyreweld is crap because yes it will fix the puncture but take the tyre to a tyre place & they won`t be able to repair the tyre.Tyreweld will render the tyre useless & you`ll need a new one.

I've cable tied my spare wheel bracket up tight under car so it dont rattle. But that means i Can have my spare wheel back for longer journeys when i may need it.
