Went to a local car shop, told him the model of my car and he looked in his trust parts book, light fitted fine... what's the best way of fixing it?

Dash lights are a little 5 amp fuse behind the fuse box on passenger side. Check feed to that with a probe

Don't have a probe pal, any other ways? It is weird why my brake was activating my dash lights though... I take the circuit panels of and its no problem just my dash wont come on..

Do your side lights still work, because your side lights and ur dash light all run through the same fuse, check that first.

Bulbs in wrong way. Turn 180• on its tip, and reinsert. Did the same in mine once, left all brakelights on too, ouch!!

And to fix your original problem of your reverse lights not working, there's a little plug that you can see in your engine bay that sits on top of your gear box. Push it back in - that's your reverse light switch. Mine did the same, just give it a nudge back in.

Yeah ya side lights the little stalk that ya twist.

Check that ya side works and that will point to the fault as said before.

Side lights work, took the bulb out and it doesn't happen, however the dash lights wont go on still?

Turns out the broken bulb had to parts in the bulb not one with the one I replaced it with, I think I changed the wrong bulb, any ideas?
