rusty wings

Are rusty wings a common problem with saxos? I've got a 51 plate posi blue desire and both the wings have the dreaded tin worm. Obviously I'll be replacing both of them probably after the crap winter weather.
The rust isn't really bad but has been left to fester.

On the inner wing yes they do mate, also check the boot floor and behinde the rear wheel.

Yeah I've had a good look round, the boot floors good as are the inner wings. There is no other rust anywhere, just the front wings.

Just annoying really, its hard to keep clean when There's rusty bits. But will sort it after winter.
