Sure you have asked about 40 questions on wheels and spacers..
(if it wasnt you, then my bad, but your name seems familiar :detective:)

you will need 20mm spacer, but i doubt they would look any good on a saxo

Genuine cosworth wheels or you just telling porkies?

The fittment should be the same 4x108 only difference will be centre bore, so spigot rings or spacers.

I tries to put my bosses escort cosworth alloys on mine but bore was different

Will cost more than they are worth will need 195/45/16 tires at the very least, toyos in this size are a good £300, and then 20mm spacers and longer bolts gonna cost about £100

Fit part worn tires and source second hand spacers and bolts would be the only worth while doing if you really want them

i thought 16's will need 195/40's to fit without rubbing? :detective:

as said, take into account spending a couple of hundred on a set of tyres... and then a set of 20mm spacers all round (hubcentrics or spacers and longer bolts which can be dodgy sometimes) is it really worth it for a set of alloys which arent particularly great looking?

also i imagine without lowering, it will look like an absolute monster truck on 16's. you'd probably be able to stand under your own car

i think the 5 spoke escort gti wheels look pretty good on saxos. Remember someone on here had them once

well thanks for the advice...to be honest i like the looks of them

Well ive got 45's rubs when I'm driving spritidly lol but I am down 60mm so if your not as low then it would be fine

I really like them but always been put off them as they are off a 206 which always means they need tires and spacers :( unless your lucky enough to find someone selling them off a saxo/106

I like them but think there are better options for a saxo bearing in mind the money your gonna have to spend on tyres & spacers & bolts

man up and just buy the bbs for sale in the for sale section , by the time youve got smaller tyres , had them fitted , brought some spacers you will have a fair size hole in your pocket

dan_dan_the_saxo_man
3rd January 2012, 14:18

http://i40.tinypic.com/sggydw.jpg

and these are what the wheels are going to look like...tried putting them on and failed...i now know why i need spacers and longer bolts haha...i think they look great...just dirty...195/45 tyres fitted...reduced from 225/50.

http://i39.tinypic.com/2q33n09.jpg

so...stuff left i need...set of all 4 tyres...the guy i went to said £35 each

and i need longer bolts.
