Angel eye problems

I've got a set of angel eyes on my mk1 VTS problem is one of my rings has decided to not work, i thought that maybe it was the wiring but after checking and even rewiring, still no ring of light. Just wondering if anyone knew how to go about fixing this?

Dunno but I think it's more advisable to let someone who knows what they're doin hae a alook at it, even though the fuckers make you pay through the nose lol. They could maybe have got damaged in the delivery if you never collected em?

they were working fine for a couple of months, now one has just gone off, it must be the bulb, but then im not sure if they're gas? guess ill have to take it to a specialist... ani ideas on who?

You can buy replacement rings for them mate. Give one of them a go see if it works then. Might just have been a dud of a ring.

to change the rings u have to remove the glass on the front theirs 2 screws that hold them in.their a pain to do

i was just reading this there and i seem to have kind of the same problem i have just put my angel eyes in my mk1 i have put the 2 red wires together and the 2 black 1s together and put them on the wire from the side light but when i turn my sidelights on its just the big halo on each side that light up?? any ideas what to do to fix it thanks and i hope you dont mind me writing in this thread :)

alrite i got the exact same problem with mine they wired up but dont work but i think mine has little LED's in them from the looks of it but aint sure how to get to them :wacko:
