My sisters just bought a samsung galaxy ace from vodaphone shop, her old sim was pay as you go, they told her to put the sim in the phone and to change it to contract. how do you do this?

You can't change a PAYG sim to a contract one, can you? :S

Ring Vodafone customer services they're usually pretty helpful :)

i thought that.

ended up taking the phone to the Vodaphone shop and they did it there and then. Why didn't they do that in the first place!

yeah you can, just insert the sim before turning the phone on for the first time and it will lock itself on it.

The phone doesnt care what sim is in there as long as its on the network the phone is locked to. You cant change a sim to "contract", you get your number ported over to a new sim, as did i when i got a contract.

ive got the gs2 an thats big enough for me, heard the ace is even bigger :S swerve that

nope, we have the same sim, same number, they did it using the actual phone somehow.

I actually like the look off them & i'm due an upgrade in 2 months time

im not into my phones at all, never even used a touch screen till my sister got this phone.

I think its an amazing phone, really easy to use. Never used one before and i was downloading apps, sending texts etc easily.

I'd recommend one, but i don't know much about phones tbh
