I had a vtr insured with co-op on my dads name and was paying £2k but i crashed it and now i have a new saxo VTR. Call co op to transfer bearing in mind i hadnt told them about the crash. So i call them up and they decline me!! i go on the co op website and put the reg in, it comes up as a VTS! ive been on like 3 hpi check websites and they say its a vtr, the logbook says its a vtr and go compare says its a vtr! Insurance in other places for me is £5k! Called them and tried explainig but still declined, i tried goin back on the website putting my old reg in and they would insure me! Is there anything i can do to prove that my car is a VTR?
Thanks

Yes,

The Co-op or CIS are very expensive for Saxo's.

I looked to insure a 998cc Mini Cooper as my first car. They wanted only £700 TPFT (Almost 4 years ago)

Admiral are your best bet

Yup one downside of Admirall/Elephant/Bell.....30% more for paying monthly.

I am with them and pay the whole year at once so no extra :)

Who would want a box fitted to their car?

I brake as harsh as i like, i drive as fast as i like (because i can). fack off.

Oh the joys of having no box.
