Seems a bit pricy to me. Just look at all the general things and just spend a good amount of time looking over the car and do not be rushed into making a decision. Do you know about vts's (sounds silly) as somebody recently was going to look at one and didn't know what he was getting himself into.

Unmodified apart from a Magnex system, what could I possibly be getting myself into?

get an insurance quote because they tend to be rather pricey for vts as they are group 16

I thought they were insurance group 14? Ow well the insurance can be expensive so like above get a quote if you have not got one.

offer 2500 and see what he says, see if you can get it for 2700, 3k for a saxo on 60k seems alot to me

insurance for me fully comp is £338. It's got electric seats n' all that, be happy to get it for £2700. Think it will still still be reasonable nippy?

The nippyness doesn't have anything to do with the price unles it's turbo'd for example. How old are you for that it is well cheap? What ncb do you have etc and who is that with? I would say 2700 is not bad. I paid that for mine and it was on 47k

I dono but 3 grand for a v reg with 60k is expensive i think. Mine is an x reg with 36k n i paid £2600 for it with 12 months MOT n jus bin service with new front disks n pads! Plus a remus backbox!

EDIT: I know its not a vts but still

Dammm. thought 3000 was cheap (like the budgie) back to the drawing board. i did want a newer VTS but they are so few & far between. also to find one that has not been thrashed is a real effort!
