Not something you see coming up every week. Up for auction next week as it didnt sell apparently
http://www.intercitymotorauctions.co.uk/stock_new.aspx?lot=175&site=glasgow&salenumber=2888
The things immaculate. Now, bearing in mind that all early ford engines used the same gearbox mounting pattern and many used similar mounts....

And should be left completely standard and kept in an immaculate condition... That's what you're saying isn't it!

Not sure too many people would cry about a V6 getting replaced with a V8. :P

Ahh man you're right, and I'm not exactly a purist type person, but when you get such a rare old perfect thing, something just screams out that it needs to be kept original and perfect...

had loads of these and theres no way i'd out the V6 for anything else, a lot revvier then the Rover V8, not too bad on fuel, sad to say, i've also killed plenty round Buxton banger circuit, now they're considered classics! lovely cars, last one i had was a 2.8i Ghia X in Paris Blue about 8 years ago.
