Working out speed of a rocket

I'm not sure how i got to it, but i'm reading about Animals in Space on Wiki.

One section states
The rocket reached 68 miles (109 km) in 3 minutes and 10 seconds, past both the U.S. 50-mile and the international 100 km definitions of the edge of space

I tried working out the speed of the shuttle.

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

I got the answer of 21.935 (219mph)

Am i correct? I think i am

I wanted to know how fast it was. 68 miles in just under 3 minutes sounds fast. That's like from London to Northampton in just over 3 minutes. I think when i look at it like that, it seems too slow. Maybe it should be 2,193Mph but that seems too fast. Just a little confused.

My spelling was fine. The issue was that I was spelling the wrong word. I happen to know the difference between 'your' and ' you're '. Something which you seem to have difficulty with.

The reference to luck was merely an assumption as it was clear you wouldn't have made a comment from an educational point of view.

I think you will find I mostly stay away from the other sections. I suggest you do more research before making accusations.
