Now before you make a thread, you will have to wait for the server to update before the for sale and wanted sections appear.

how come some people pay £90.25 or £118 on a mk2 vtr. Is it to do with different emissions?

the 90bhp engine pollutes more...so more squirels die

i was quite shocked when i bought my newer vtr, last year or year before, the 98bhp vtr's were £86 for 6 months!

thats right moke, was 90.25 last time....just got my renewal through :(

how is this? i would've thought that the engine that produced more power would have higher tax band?

it doesnt go on power, it goes on emissions/engine size, the newer set up has better ecu/mapping and possibly a more efficient CAT, which should mean less co2 produced

it depends on the year of manufacture. pre 2001 is £215 for a year for engines over 1549cc, post 2001 varies depending on tax band

Cars produced after 1st march are worked out on emissions
Before 1st march is based in engine size iirc ?

As my mk2 vtr is a 98bhp engine and I have to pay 118.25 for 6 months
