Ah shite, was hoping this was the route of my problem. Alarm going off constantly as soon as battery is connected no matter what, then it dawned on me ive no front end pannels on at all and thought it might be to blame

Cheers mate

Hmm just thought of another thing, my switch that normally turns the interior light on when passanger side door is open isnt there, would that cause it to go off thinking that the door was open?

would'nt it be easier to get one from a scrappy coz it will be the correct fitment for the car then?

Would sooner do this than pay halfords i can tell you that!

Does anyone know is it a push to make switch or a push to break? as i could just solder any old thing to it for now to see if this is the fault

cheers

push to break, as when door is open it closes the circuit.

at least, that the logical way!

check your front panels as you may have a aftermarket switch for the alarm.
