Just tried changing the fuse with the diagram on here but still no luck , but the map light isn't working aswell .
The rear screen heater is working tho does any one have any ideas what it is,
Not to sure if I'm changing the right fuse ? Or if the wiper motor is fucked,
Drove 50 miles this morning wipin the screen with my hand it wasn't good haha

Hi it could be a few thing's.
Fuse= check/change fuse
Wiper stalk= check/ rear wiper and motor do they work ok? If not may be stalk needs replacing.
Wiper relay = check/ change blue relay(under glovebox)
Wiper motor = check/change

Probably the stalk if nothing else works. Get a multimeter on the motor

a device for checking voltage, continuity etc etc. should you really be messing with electrics?

haha i just touch it untill i get a shock haha
Dont think i could be the stalk because the map light isnt working but the rear window heater is working ..
i was under the impression that they are all on the same loop ??

Might be on same fuse, but they will all work independantly of each other. Map light bulb could be gone and rear demister would work, for example

Where on the motor would I put the multimeter to find if there's any voltage ??

Just put the multimeter on the red and white wire at the motor and the motor side of the connector and no volts at all so guessing the motors fucked?

With a hammer gently tap the motor casing as the brushes stick(temporary fix)

Try putting your other(earth probe)for the multimeter on a better earth point. You may not be getting a good enough earth to get a reading.:drink:don`t forget the power to the wiper motor is on a switched live feed so turn your ignition key to the 1st/2nd stage.

yeah turned the ignition on and the wipers.
put live probe to live wire on the motor and the motor side of the connector
and tried three different earth points so got a bit feeling that the motor is well and truely fucked:y: haha
thanks for your help tho
