Picked it up on Thursday and i must say, if i hadn't just bought the Saxo, i would of been VERY tempted myself.

Picture ain't the best because it was a bit dark.

889

It's the Freedom model. 1.25 16v Zetec engine, in amersyt (purple/lilac).

It also has the following

- Voice Control System - Tell it what track to play on CD etc, quite fun!
- Bluetooth
- MP3 player socket
- Air conditioning
- Electric Windows
- CD Player
- Leather Steering wheel
- Follow me home lights
- Trip computer
- Colour Coded bumpers
- 15" Unique alloys
- Silver interior trim

Very nice car to drive and only cost £8,995 with all road tax, first registration fee and metallic paint included.

Quite a good deal.

She talked about a VTR at one point, but settled for this one. She's done right though, it's a great little car and drives faultless.

I'll get some proper pictures on Monday of her.

What are follow me home lights?

Follow me home lights are where the headlight stay on after you turn the car off and lock it up for about 5mins to light up the path infront of you so you can see where your going. The idea is if you live in a dark area and visibility to your front door is weak, the car headlights will light up for you and turn off automatically after around 5mins. Alot of new cars have this feature, i first saw it on the Pug 206

She a Fiesta Studio before - very basic equipment on it.

She sold it because she had a big loan to pay off and the car was the only way out of it, so now thats gone she has gone finance with the best model fiesta at the moment

I like it, nice car she got there, its better than mine anyway lol

I was going to say didnt she just sell one of these

Well im be honest, theres not a chance i would get myself into 9k debt for a Fiesta, 1.2 as well. Sayin that i wouldnt get myself into 9k debt for any car.

You could get a ltd edition Fiesta Black, on 35k for around 5k, and you get most of the above and leather seats. Even the 1.6 Ghia you could pick up with 20k miles on for 7k. Or even for 9k get a ST with 15k on the clock! id rather have the ST!

Why are the alloys unique?

Luke

I know some people don't like getting into debt for a car and i wouldn't for 9k, 3,5k is still enough for me but end of the day it's her money.

We looked at some older Fiestas but she didn't see any she liked plus this one is built to how she likes it.

The alloys are unique because they are special edition to the Freedom model.

good thing she didnt get a vtr.....

least this car wont fall apart.

on a alternative note, i agree, 9k !! she would have looked better in a audi a3 / golf mk4 / type r and drove better and perform better and errr thats it. :)

Unique, but for how long!?

We had a Ford Focus Black, ltd edition alloys, then couple of months later most Focus' had them

Luke

She might of been able to get a golf or audi, but she has always had Fords and wanted a brand new Fiesta.

Yates
23rd July 2006, 15:37
