Brought a Saxo Vtr with the hope of getting it going but cant seem to.

I brought the car with the immobliser light on and wouldn't start so i removed the immobiliser and replaced the ECU with an unlocked one. still wouldn't go.
We then realized the fuel pump wasn't priming, so i replaced the fuel pump relay with my other Saxo Vtr, still nothing, then checked the fuse (no. 9 on the fuse box under bonnet), still nothing, i then replaced the fuel pump, still nothing, i then earthed the fuel pump and connected a wire directly from the battery to fuel pump, still nothing.
Any Ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Paul

Is the fuel pump priming?

Is the engine turning over?

If pumps priming and still not firing up your ecu may not be unlocked.

Surely if you earthed the pump and put power to it from the battery it would just work??

Not overly clued up on this but that seems weird to me.

Run the fuel pump directly from the battery - also check your crank sensor is working and thus giving a spark

i already tried running pump directly from battery and still nothing and would that stop the fuel pump priming??

so you ran fuel pump from battery, did you hear it priming then?

if its not priming at all then your fuel pump electrical circuit is faulty.

you will need to pull a wiring diagram and check it out.

wont start without the fuel pump working ;)

na it didnt prime at all, and its really weird as iv put a volt meter thingy on it and there isnt any power going to the fuel pump but even when i run the pump from battery it still didnt work and i know the fuel pump works as its been in my other car, iv put everything back to how it was and im calling breakdown cover.
