I have a 1996 106 Diesel, which has been very reliable but I now have a problem with the keypad imobiliser. When i key the code in, both the green and red LED lights are illuminated and the engine will turn over but will not start. I would appreciate any advice on how to overcome the problem.

Try pressing the fuel cut off switch at the top right hand side of the engine (big red button)
If not have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30mins and retrying?

Thanks Craig for the reply to my question, and sorry it has taken me a while to respond (work commitments). I have tried both your suggestions today, but without success.
Does anyone know if there is any way of removing or replacing the keypad, or can it be rebooted?

i dunno how to solve the problem but can i suggest that wen it is working, leave the car running and disconect the keypad by simply pulling it out :)
MAKE SURE THE CAR IS RUNNING WHEN DOING THIS
no more problems in the future then :y:
