This morning i had the chance to buy a VTS - he offered it to me for £1000 but then unfortunatly sold it for £1400 later on.

So i thought well hang on as much as i like saxo's my best bet is to buy a cheap run about and il see if my sister wants to go halfs with me. So i had a chat with her and she said yes why not, we work together so it will be handy going back and forth and when im back in uni she can drop me off.

Then Chris_T told me he was selling his old L reg 1.2 clio so i thought no harm in looking, me and my sister just popped over to his house, had a little drive of it (sorry for nearly getting us killed on the corner by your house Chris lol) and its really nice to drive, it sounds good and its in wonderful condition all for £400! So now me and my sis are going back on wednesday to pick up our funky little car. I am saving shit loads because its been well looked after and my insurance with my little sister on is only costing £28 a month lol.

The money i am saving will be to pay off some credit cards and to buy myself some well deserved weekly drinks lol.

Thanks once again Chris!

thats what i thought matt, then chris showed me this and i thought of the money id be saving to actually have a life for a change lol and as you can see the insurance is a bargain!

well insurance will only be around 50 a month for me, bit less than that

and only money i have comin out my account at the moment is 80 a month for gym, thats a joint account tho

so i coul afford it, i just dont know, when i have sold the VTR and if i have a nice lump of cash somewhere and a nice vts comes up i will probs get it

All in good time Daniel! i think the vtr will stay for a bit longer now.

Was thinking save up money for a new car and then sell the VTR, could save for an S and spend the money from the R on the S engine...

Makes perfect sense to me Matt lol

If I manage to get a new job after xmas and if Im earning what Ive been told I could then I quite possibly would buy a vts and turbo or supercharge it. :)

Good on ya Boe, that does sound like a reasoned decision....hopefully you'll have less, uh, problems with this one!!

I think now you're a Mod, your name change should be in-keeping with the rest, e.g Dan and Chris....you should just be "Boe!" There's only one Boe!!

This didnt last long.....i sold my half of the car to my dad lol

he just came home the other night and said il buy your half of th car off you as long as you keep your name on the insurance until you get another car when you go back to uni and you can drive it as much as you need too

Job done

all i can say is never skin yourself for a car....because in the long run your hands more in your pocket than out of it....insurance,petrol, road tax, servicing, mot...tyres blah blah blah......good decision though :A:

If you were getting wise you would have bought the VTS for £1000 and done what the seller did - sold it for 1400 ;)
