Right i bought my old alloys (vts rims) back of a mate...now they have been a number of colours:
-white
-sky blue
-black
-anthracite
-yellow
- back to anthracite
- ardon blue

So as you can see there has been alot of layers of paint, so thick that you can bearly make out the citroen badge next to the valve cap lol.

Question - best way to remove all the paint??

Im not sitting there with a bit of sand paper and to cheap to get them sand blasted lol, so i was wondering if nitromors would do the job??

any advice will be great thanks

Nitromors is good stuff to use but you will need a fair amount of it by the sounds of how much paint is on your alloys. Idealy you want to get down to the primer before thinking about spraying.

get a drill and a wire brush adaptor to get the most of it off the the nitromorse will do the rest :)

orbital sander wont get in between the spokes /: so wire drill bit and then nitromors is the best option?

Niromors struggled to tackle orig paint on my old car alloys. It was a nightmare

Get a heat gun on it to sofen it up and try and scrap some off? than try it?

Nitromoors is wank.... I just stripped a full set this week. There is some paint stripper called Starchem Synstrip (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Starchem-Paint-Stripper-5L-Synstrip-Heavy-Duty-/250854018946?pt=UK_Body_Shop_Supplies_Paint&hash=item3a68108f82#ht_1334wt_905) all you have to do is wire brush the paint to help the solvents penetrate then brush this stuff on (wear goggles and gloves) I burnt my arm from about 2 seconds on my skin. It will bubble everything up even the o.e powder coat.

Then just neutralise it with white spirit on a rag and you have good clean aluminium to start with.
