Colour Coding Mirror Caps !!!

thinking of colour coding my mirror caps on my mk1 vts as they're black as standard... just wondered how to remove the cap as i don't want to snap any clips...

do i just ping it off with a screwdriver or do i have to take the glass out first ?

i think they are just stuck on with glue mate. heat them up a bit and it should prize off

ok, i have some super glue and mirror tape to get them back on with so will give it a go.. will post some pics up tommorow if it works :)

there are clips,1 of mine broke,just used double sided tape.

the bodyshop broke it,so not sure,soz,my mirrors are silver,the inserts got silver flake.

just come off with screwdriver, i got my mates off just using my hand

Yeah, they do come off by using your hand. The Westie ones did anyway!
