How long roughly should a garage take to remove old and replace with new gearbox, just so i can get a rough price they say £50 a hour...

Roughly 2-3 hours if done right but if they wana take the piss and milk it ??? who knows

Its a saxo......2 hours the most i would think if they know what they are doing witch they should if they work in a garage

Two hours. They will charge 4 hours as a precaution though.
Surely you know how to do that after breaking your car about 3 times Moxy?

mate its all back together... hence i need a new gearbox as mine fucked today... i dont know how to do it and i cant be bothered it to cold... just want a box fitted and it sold in a one go...

ChrisB would be your best bet Moxy. Local to you and knows what he is doing.
Took me 8 hours last time :( Bloody drivers side drive shaft hammer pin is a pain.

as said above unless its a specialist they will probly charge you 3-4 hours but it can be done in 2, can be done in under an hour with 2 of you and it goes well

3-4 hours max! Fairly simple job to be honest. Maximum your looking to pay if your including the box is about £120

Krisb is your best bet as already said. Fairly close to you and is quick and knows what he's doing.
