2. Turn your eyes towards the wall/roof or somewhere else on a plain surface
3. Keep blinking your eyes quickly!
4. What can you see?

Try staring at the red dot without blinking atall for more than 30 seconds and blink loads at a white/cream or even light coloured wall. Works a treat!

I don't know if you have any conditions with your eyesight or something but nothing should prevent it from working. The light area is "burnt" into the retina momentarily so that when you shut your eyes the image remains for a while.
