Lexus Lights

Was on my way home on my ped tonight, seen three saxos, one black with black morettes, one silver with silver morettes- both looked crap imo.

and a silver one with lexus lights.

looked amazing.

So iv decided, so what if people think there chavvy, IMO (which is what counts as its my money thats paying for mods) they look great on the silver car, they blend in quite well and dont stick out like a sore thumb.

does anyone else agree???

All us saxo owners seem to be going against all other chavvy trends, but tbh some of the normally chavvy upgrades can actually look good.

If you dont agree fair enough tell your sides, but i honestly think we give it too much thought and should just go for whats nice.

I dont like lexus lights but I think they suit certain colour cars better than others and can look ok but there very common.

i agree with ya my saxos white and the lexus lights look alright on it.But alot of people dont like them

The first thing most people will say is change the lights..........but in saying that you do what you want to your car.

yeh i suppose everyone has their opininon but i think they look quite good on lightter cars like silver and white.

VERY pleasantly surprised.

I agree i was part of the anti Chav Saxo brigade lolol.

But after seeing that Silver Sax and a silver 106 both with lexus lights, iv TOTALLY decided to not judge drivers on there choice of parts. (unless everything is from halfraudsLOL)

Ive got lexus lights on my saxo (emerald green) and i reckon they look sweet, a lot of people complain about the stick on reflectors, either dont fit em and take the risk or do what i did and sink em into the bumper so there flush

there a legal requirement, as to their actual purpose im assuming its so people can see your car when its parked at night cos their headlights reflect off the reflectors.....

Well Just ordered a set along with some DTM's.

Only ordered them after checking out over 50 silver saxos with lexus lights, couldnt decide on the two red bits or the three, ended up going for 2 as they look better.

Car's is coming on something silly in terms of speed, i cant believe how quick its coming together.

Ohh yeh guys, Lenso wheels- any good? as ive seen a set i really like. 15's btw.

Altohugh im considering 13" Euros with 60mm drop :D

Ive been through 2 MOTs without having those crappy stick on reflectors on my car and not a word was said. I havnt got lexus lights, but still same principal not bothing with reflectors

rear morettes i will agree on with you though they do look poo aswell, but for front morettes they look sexy as fook

I agree with g_moore,Rear Morettes are awful however I love front morettes their next on the shopping list.

Edit: not keen on Lexus lights,I had them on my Saxo for a while & although they didnt look too bad I would just prefer standards.

Ive got the first ones, they look really nice in real life, ive seen the second set up close and i dont think they look as good, the third set are a bit dull

end of day if your going to ask people if they like lexus lights most will so no, but about 80% of sax-p only like subtle mods so will be against the lexus lights.

People will say get smoked jewls instead but they are becomming the new lexus lights so really you wont get anywhere. If people all liked and bought the same thing all saxos would look the same and everything will become standard again.

Id say if you like them buy them who cares what other people think its your car, your the 1 driving it, you will probably never meet most of the people off sax-p anyway for them to comment in real life.

yeh totally mate, my saxo will be 100% subtle, small wheels, no badges, lowered, ncie small exhaust, tints, black 15's,

but i just cant help how nice i think they look on silver sax's.

I prefer the LED rears, Red being my prefered choice.
Your average "modder" will walk into Halford and see the £180 price tag and settle with the £60 lexus lights hence why you hardly see any compaired to Lexus ones.

Again your driving it so make it how you'd like to see it.
