so as it says i have a metal clunk coming from the back drivers side of the car.. its a mk2 vtr hd the rear beam changed and lowered it about a month ago anyone any ideas as to what this sharp clunking noise could be... it originally sounded like exhaust but a) wrong side and b) everything looks okay with it hanging properly..

anyone any ideas?

Try tightening the ARB end plate bolts on each side of the beam. Don't go mental with them, just nip them up a bit more.

i had the same it turned out to be where the boot floor meets the arch the weld had came away

Usualy ARB end plate snapped or loose orr your rear beam is fuked again lol

maybe you have some metal in the boot ?

i wish i thought to check the boot tontsy.... but no metal lol.. cheers guys will have a look later
