You could try asking in the right section?

-adding your parents as named drivers
-not declaring mods they wont notice
-join an admiral multicar policy
-play around with online quote (eg. admiral make it cheaper to be parked on the street instead of drive)

The renewal letters price, is always double what you can get with a new quote.
Got my renewal letter through from Admiral last year : £1200
New Quote WITH admiral online £720

Called them up, gave the reference and it was all done in 5 minutes :y:

Adding older named drivers, females are usually better
Paying yearly instead of monthly
Getting as many quotes as possible then ringing them up to haggle
Being creative with your occupation without lying

Mine is down as a computer technician as opposed to a computer engineer, the same thing really but one is about £40 cheaper!

Declaring mods is upto you but a few people on here have been fucked over for not declaring them.

This. Took my dad off mine this year and it is £34 cheaper. Will be adding my mother and sister as named drivers as well.

People do realise that numbers aren't plucked out of the sky when you call up for example admiral, they run it through the system and then they can apply up to a maximum of 10% personal discount. If it's cheaper than a rival then great if not then so be it, they won't match the quote if the system +10% doesn't match it.

Adding my dad halves my insurance every time, add the mother and it goes even further :D

Legally you are supposed to tell them, whether you want to or not.

I didn't want to tell them I moved house because it put the price up 10%.....but I did and paid the extra because I don't want to risk losing my NCB if they decided to void my policy.
