HELP!!!
so, my beloved saxo has a puncture, and i can't get the bloody wheel off no matter how much i try, due to the wheel bolts probably being rusted to the car, any ideas on how to loosen the wheel bolts??? or, is that me fucked?

brute strength eh?. thats something i'm lacking. tried both ways, on various wheel bolts, can hear the whole car groaning under my efforts.

put a spider on then a large steal pole over the spider for extra leverage and push from the very end of the pole.

Are you using the standard crap citroen wheel bolt wrench? If so see if you can get hold of a scrap metal pole slot that onto the top of the wheel wrench(gives more leverage)

large bar / extension = increased torque.

Scaffolding pipe on the wrench does the job.

I remember trying to change a wheel with the standard wheel brace once....
It ended like this...

Can easily say I've never had this problem.
Do you guys torque up your wheel nuts or just tighten them til your arm hurts? Sounds like you're either over tightening them, or they've rust welded themselves to the hub.
