Hey guys, my vts started to develop a misfire, changed the spark plugs for good measure and still doing it
Then changed coilpack and MAP sensor, still misfiring tho?? No EML on either?
Was thinking crank sensor or lambda sensor, but then the EML isnt even on?
Any othe ideas much appreciated guys
thanks

As above or blocked injector/s.

pull the plugs and have a look down the hole into each cylinder.
if one seems a bit damp and the end of the plug seems wet could have faulty injector like i had recently. no warning lights or anything just misfire and a bit gutless.

Hmm just listened to the engine and it seems to be ticking over fine. Exhaust seems to be blowing though, would this be the cause of it running lumpy and loss of power due to the loss of back pressure??

blowing zorst shouldnt make it missfire mine did this and it was a temperature sensor

blowing zorst will cause a slight loss of power

It can also make the car run slightly richer(fueling)because the exhaust gases get sucked back up.(correct me if i`m wrong):drink:
