View Full Version : Amp to power some Bostons

Two questions really;

Firstly is there much difference between the Boston S50's and the Boston SX50's? Especially in a saxo which isnt going to be sound proofed from top to bottom, possibly the doors at some stage.

Secondly, is this blaupunkt amp any good to power them SQ wise, as i already have the Mono from the same range and i think having two different amp styles may look messy, but if its crap theres no point...

when i dun the sound system in my car i mixed an matched it, i sold this an went 4 everything the same(blaupunk) an it sounds far beter an louder cause there compatable wi each other where as mixin an matchin can fight against each other

All having a one make system does is limit the choises of equipment you have. The only way I would ever have a one make system is if I got it all for free. Even then it would have to be a top company like DLS, Diamond, Genesis, Boston or Focal.

Cheers. What about the difference between the S and SX ranges, is it worth the extra money as Dave you said before that the S50's are the best under 200 quid comps you have heard? Which must include the SX50's then?
