standard vts alarm problem! HELP PLEASE

i drove my 51 reg vts home from work parked it up, few hours later went to start it and just started turning over but not starting. then i noticed a flashing square with key, iv disconnected battery with key in ignition and out. iv changed battery in my fob and im now out of ideas. is their anyway of by passing the immobiliser or disconnecting it? :wall:

not that anyone has posted, but i have a little progress on my immobiliser situation. a guy came to my saxo today and plugged his computer in and said my alarm system is fine, immobiliser working correctly so he turned the key light off with my key in ignition but still wouldnt start, turned over but no start. he said my chip in key is nakered so he has took my key away and is gonna replace it for me with new chip. not sure if im been scammed or takin for a mug but it seems like the key as i do throw them about.
