Just bought a different switch (now have 3) for my car, its to manually turn on the fan.

How do i wire it so the LED turns on when i turn the fan on?

Tried all different ways with the two wires coming from my fan, closest i got was the LED to turn off when i turn the fan on!

Someone help! Lol

Heres the switch

well your power goes into the middle leg. and it stays there. put the other wire on one of the other two legs. which and should light up on either combination.

why did you not go for a switch with just two legs. a whole lot simpler.

probably need to splice the wire going to the middle terminal and also join that to the one that isnt being used.

Simpler doesnt mean better. I have 2 other switches with 2 legs that i could use, which i have been using, but then i have no indication really if its on or off. Ofcourse i could just remember what way i flicked it but i would prefer a smart looking LED.

Thanks though.

Tried that and the light comes on when i turn the switch off lol, ill have another play with it later on and see if i can sort it, thanks man
