i was just wondering do i need that bit of paper to show i am to the post office cus ive only swap cars ova from my punto to saxo same policy so could i use my old 1 or hav to wait :(

You take the v5 slip and insurance to the post office.

Buy a dictionary when there too.

tax it online pal. all you do is tick a box to say it has mot and another box to say its insured. dvla will recognise if its insured if so will take you to the payment page. its easy as cake online :y:

Online will require the full V5 (i.e not just the new keeper supliment).

Post office will require the new keeper supliment and insurance certificate to get tax.

I tried using the new keeper supliment online but it wouldn't accept it so had to find a post office, rather impossible on a Sunday!

im with elephant an i lost my insurance certificate... had to tax it yesterday, registered online and my certificate was there to view and print off

so i rang a number up related to it and they explained that the date base is sloooooow nd may take time to sort it
