Hi there i have a saxo vtr unmodified 52 plate, for a few weeks now there has been a loud tink noise coming from the rear.

I thought it was the arb plate but checked them and there not loose, the only thing i can see loose is a small spring about 10 cm in length that hooks over a bolt just right behind where the arb plate is.

I have checked the other side and there is no such spring. the noise used to only happen every so often like over a few bumps but does it allot now.

Another weird thing is it likes to do it when going round corners to the left for some reason.

I really dont know what this spring is, the sound is driving me nuts if can anyone help me out with what it is or what the tink noise could be it would be much appriciated.

Also there is no play in the back wheels i forgot to say.

It is the bolt securing the arb. The spring is the brake bias adjuster thingy
