how do I go about checking if the wishbone bushes are good or not like say i get a pry bar or something to check them how much movement should they have if they are good/bad?

And would I be able to change the bushes myself? I was thinking of getting some front poly bushes and standard rear replacements if they are knackered.

Im thinking my drivers side ones are knackered as its knocking when going over bumps that side, cheers

Use a pry bar to check for movement on the front and push and pull the hub to check for play in the outer bush. If the outer bush has gone i would get a full new arm as the inserts that are pressed in don't seem to last long no matter what make.

If the other 2 are worn/damaged then I would use the o.e heavy duty rear bush from citroen and a powerflex front may as well uprate them whilst your at it.

Fai make good bottom wishbones at 35 quid each as well as delphi bottom arms at 40.
